Everyone Needs A Pocket Gunn

At some point last night in between Project Runway episode 1 and episode 100 that Bravo has been airing I decided that I have no fashion sense. (Thank you Bravo, what would I do if I turned on the TV and Project Runway or Crazy Tabitha or freaky Rachel Zoe or those messed up "housewives" were not on to numb the mind) I don't wear much tulle, and if I put some purposeful shape on my hips I'm afraid people would mistake me for an oompa loompa. I also don't own a lot of leather outside of shoes and an old leather jacket in the closet that I just can't bring myself to throw out. My standard is jeans and a tee shirt with flip flops or uggs. If I have appointments I throw on a boring suit. I NEED SOME FASHION HELP! Tim Gunn, can you hear me? I actually don't like his Bravo show, go figure, my favorite Bravo personality and the one show I really don't like. I just want to carry him around in my pocket. I'd like to hear him say "carry on" when I put on my blue jeans and black long sleeve scoop neck tee with a white tank or "make it work" when I throw on my jeanskirt and some lame top. Can you imagine the world where everyone had a pocket Tim Gunn? The man had this brilliant insight on Sarah Palin from The Huffington Post:

"Her lipstick is one of the things that bothers me least about her."l

Maybe he can work on her about those crazy viewpoints on everything from abortion to oil to Russia to creationism. You know she may need a pocket Gunn more than me.

So this is a blog, eh?

Special props to my girl Tawnee who decided that she would like to try her hand at this blogging thing, that is once she figures out what it is. I just rode her coattails as she set "She's on it" up and graciously invited me to contribute.

What do I have to contribute? Not so sure. Maybe today I'll start at the pinnacle of importance that is Britney Spears and Mama Spears. Just watched Mama on the Today Show. Personally I don't buy her "Britney wanted to be a star, we just supported her, and then things got overwhelming....blah de blah blah" I think she loves her kids but I also think she was looking for fame as much as anyone. I don't really get why she needs to publish a book about it though. Supposedly the book started 5 years ago as "poems and notes to my kids". Uh. Ok. Huh. Funny though, THAT book would have sold about 50 copies, this one I fear will sell much more.

Off to work I go. HUH.

So, wow. I'm blogging. And yet I haven't a clue what I'm doing, so judge not ye hastily lest ye be judged. Or more likely, made fun of, 'cause that's kinda what I do.
